Edward James WIlliams Jr. (Jimmy) was born to Vida White Williams and Edward 
James WIlliams Sr. on November 25, 1946. Having a learning disability, Jimmy 
was compensated by God with exceptional mechanical and intuitive skills; he 
could rebuild a watch or fix anything not working. Jimmy was always on time 
for a job, never complaining, always cheerful. He died October 25, 1976 from 
heart problems.

KINSTON-Edward James Williams Jr., 39, died Monday. Funeral 3:30pm Wednesday, 
at Edwards Funeral Home chapel. Burial, Williams Family cemetery, near 
Woodington. Surviving:  parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward James Williams of Rt. 5, 
Kinston; sisters, Mrs. Roger Smith of Rt. 2 Trenton, Mrs. Leslie Moore of Rt. 
4 Kinston; Mrs. David Deans of Rt. 5 Kinston;  Mrs. David Watt of Erie, PA; 
Mrs. Lawrence Brooks of Chicago, IL; two brothers, John R. of Miami, FL; Don 
Williams of Rt. 5 Kinston.
