A son of William Gaston Fordham and Mary Elizaeth (Puss) Taylor Fordham. Bob 
was born April 10, 1894 in Tuckahoe Township, Jones County. He married Beulah 
Glibert of Jones County on August 13, 1916 and they had four children: a 
stillborn infant son that is buried in the Fordham Cemerey, Eloise Fordham, 
Charlotte Fordham and one living sister. He died on June 15, 1977 and is 
buried in the Colonel John Williams Cemetery.

Robert Taylor (Bob) Fordham, 83, of Kinston Rt 3 died Wednesday at a local 
nursing home. Services will be held Friday at 2pm from Edwards Funeral Home. 
Rev. Burke Kerr will officiate. Burial will follow in the Williams family 
cemetery near Woodington. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beulah Gilbert 
Fordham; three daughters, Mrs. Clayton White, Mrs. Garland Seymore, and one 
living daughter, all of Kinston; two sisters, Ms. Deliah Humphrey of Kinston 
and Mrs. Virginia Smith of Albertson; two brothers, B.O. Fordham of Kinston 
and Branch Fordham of Jacksonville; five grandchildren; and one great-grand 
child. The family will be at Edwards Funeral Home 7-9pm.
