Richard Parish. Col. Parish was a native of Hanover County North Carolina, and one of the earliest pioneers in the settlement of Middle Florida. In all the relations of life he was eminently a man of high character and sterling virtue. As a husband, father, friend and neighbor his memory will long be cherished, and his loss deeply deplored by a widely extended circle of friends and relations.
