  church on the 28th April 1856 having died on the 26th in the 
  79th year of his age

Mrs Louise Hernandez Washington wife of George Washington __ Esq of
  Kinston born in St Augustine Florida ___ died on the 12th May 1859 
  & was buried in the 14th in the 36 year of her age - (a tablet has
  been erected by the members of St Mary's Parish to her memory & 
  may be seen in the church in Kinston as a momento of her many 
virtues
  & christian graces)

  church and interment in Town Cemetery

1889

December 5th Thursday, The remains of the late John Cobb Washington, 
Senior 
  Warden of St Mary's Parish Kinston, who died at his home at Black 
Mountain
  were brought here yesterday and deposited in the Church for the 
night, and
  today the Funeral Service of the Church was read over them at 10 
o'clock.
  Then they were taken to the family lot at Vernon and deposited 
therein.
  Peace be to his ashes. The Parish mourns its los of one who had 
been 
  intimately connected with it for fifty six (56) years or since 
1833. Mr 
  Washington was born in Kinston on (not filled in)

1890

March 7th. At 2 o'clock the Funeral Service of the Church was 
performed over 
  the remains of Mr Edwin Randolph Page, formerly of Kinston, who 
died at his
  home in Trenton, Jones Co, on the evening of the 13th Inst. date 
not clear 
  but it looks like a 5 - which would make more sense died on the 5th 
buried 
  on the 7th, Interment in the Family Lot in Town Cemetery

December 16th. Mr G E Miller, junior warden of Parish was buried by

  Harding assisted by Rev C L Arnold of Goldsboro
