MARRIAGES - Christ Church
NOTE: These records were transcribed by Miss Gertrude Sprague Carraway of
New Bern, NC for the Richard Dobbs Spaight Chapter of the National Society
Daughters of the American Revolution. They were submitted by Miss Carraway
for the Annual DAR Reports, Book SIV - 114. Miss Carraway, a past N. C.
State Regent, was elected President General, National Society Daughters of
the American Revolution in 1953. Miss Carraway was the editor of the New
Bern Sun Journal and the driving force behind the restoration of Tryon
