They were in business at Spring Hill, near LaGrange, Lenoir Co., NC. Mrs. Liddie Lassiter Lipscomb of Richmond VA owned the account ledger before being donated to Joyner Library. The ledger has been checked twice for all family information. He died November 20th 1866 Thomas Jefferson, a twin died in infancy Thomas Uzzell Lasitter born December 7th 1802 died May 1862 in New Orleans. He married 1st Sallie Westbrook of Falling Creek and 2nd Harriett Thomas Dillahunty on March 12th 1833.
