WILLIAM HARDY BIBLE

Copy of original Bible found at Heritage Place, Lenoir County Community 
College, Kinston, North Carolina - Vertical File #08268-3

We thank the staff at LCC for their permission to copy selected 
documents from their files to place on the internet. It is requested 
that researchers give appropriate credit when using these documents. 
Permission to combine said documents together in printed form is not 
given.

It is well known that this Bible was read under Ultra Violet Light at 
the NC Archives in November 1964. One of the pages is fairly readable, 
some of the rest are not, and the entries are from the reading by the 
Archives when available.

The Bible is in possession of the family of Leonard Parks Hardy and was 
lent for copying by Irene Hardy Croom, daughter of Mr. Hardy. The Bible 
is small, more like a Prayer Book.
