This appears to be part of a letter. Olivia md 2nd Elijah Smith of Wayne
County and had issue. Both of her marriages and her children are proven
in Wayne County records

Olivia Croom was born July 29th, 1780 and died September 5th, 1841

Susan Bryan was your mother's mother --- your grandmother. Olivia Croom
was the wife of William Bryan and the mother of Susan Bryan and of my
father and also of Eliza Bryan who married Timothy Moring; Nancy Bryan,
who married John Hill; Argent Bryan who married a Waters. Olivia Croom
was married a second time to Elijah Smith and to them were born Creasy,
who married Wm. Fields; Phoebe, who married Woodard; Sally, who married
Micajah Casey, and a son named Joshua.

Olivia Croom was the Daughter of Joshua Croom, of Lenoir Co. William
Bryan, the father of my father and of Susan Bryan, your grandmother, was
born in Craven County, though I think he lived and his children were
born in Lenoir or Wayne Counties.

The father of William Bryan was Colonel John Bryan of Craven County.

To make it a little clearer --- Your grandmother, Susan Bryan, was the
daughter of William Bryan and Olivia Croom; Your great grandfather
William Bryan was the son of Colonel John Bryan; Your great grandmother
Olivia was the daughter of Joshua Croom

Susan Bryan daughter of William and Olivia Croom Bryan was b in 1808 and
married Tarlton Thompson. They had a daughter Susan Mazana Thompson who
married (first name not readable) B. Wilkinson. Susan Mazana and her
Wilkinson husband had a daughter Frances Susan who md Edward Casey.

Susan W. Bryant daughter of William Bryant and Olief his wife, was born
June 15, 1808

Tarlton Thompson was born Sept. 8, 1804 and died Jan. 10, 1872

Hardy B. Thompson son of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born
Nov. 17, 1828

William A. son of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born April 6,
1830

John M. son of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born March 15,
1832 and died Oct. 29, 1860

Argent A. E. daughter of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born
Feb. 8, 1835

Nancy C. daughter of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born July
13, 1835 and died Oct. 11, 1875 (one of the above birth dates is wrong)

Mary O. daughter of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born August
14, 1839 and died

Eliza A. daughter of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born June
18, 1942 and died Oct. 15, 1871

Susan M. daughter of Tarlton Thompson and Susan his wife was born May
19, 1846
