Roel, Rev.  E. M., is the son of
Charles G. and Julia A. (Ward) Roel.
He was born Dec. 28, 1858, in Dum-
merston, Vt.  March 1, 1882, he was
married to Etta L. Pavne.  Having
given himself to God and the work of
the gospel ministry, he was licensed in
1879, and ordained in 1884.  He has
had pastorates at Stratton, Vt., and
Stephentown Centre, N.Y.
