ROLLS OF VERMONT SOLDIERS IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR 1775-1783
CUMBERLAND COUNTY MILITIA.
The returns of the earlier organizations are incomplete.  The Committee of Safety
commissioned the following line officers for Cumberland on Feb. 26, 1776, as
follows:

Timothy ROOT as 2nd Lieut. in the Guilford Company.
