[203] A Payroll for Capt. Jason Duncan's Company of Militia in Col. John Sargeants'
Regiment in the State of Vermont for marching to Brattleboro' sundry times, by order
of Col. Sargents in order to suppress the disaffected party in said Regiment, in
December, 1782.

Dummerston, Feb. 10, 1783. Then personally appeared Capt. John Duncan and solemnly
swore that this muster roll was a true Muster Roll, according to his best knowledge.

Pay Table office, Sunderland, July 24, 1783. The within roll examined and approved
and the Treasurer of the State of Vermont is directed to pay the same,
