  JONES - Clair L. Jones, 70, of Coudersport, died at his home Wednesday, Sept.
  16, 1975 after a long illness. He was born Dec. 1, 1905, in Corbet, a son of
  Jasper and Ada Jeffers Jones. Mr. Jones spent most of his life in Harrison
  Valley, moving to Coudersport in 1965. He was a farm worker and a life member
  of the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Company. He is survived by three
  sisters, Mrs. Glenn [Martha] McMahon, Sacramento, Calif., Mrs. Jane Frink,
  Coudersport, and Mrs. Glenn Sivers, Lewisburg, a brother, James Jones, Elmira,
  NY; and several nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the
  Grabe-Fickinger Funeral Home where a funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m.
  Saturday with the Rev. Harold West, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church of
  Sweden Valley, officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Austin. Mr. &
  Mrs. Walter Jones and Cheryl, Mr. & Mrs. George Jones, Mr. & Mrs. Harold Jones,
  and Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Jones of Cowanesque attended the funeral.
