Bio: Benjamin Applebee : Franconia, Grafton Co, New Hampshire

Benjamin Applebee, a native of Rhode Island, came to this town as an early
settler, locating on the place where Daniel Whitney now lives, on road 13.
Here he resided until 1825, when he moved to Easton, where he died. He
reared a family of eight children, of whom five were sons--Justice, Emer,
James, David and Minot. Minot remained on the homestead several years, then
moved to Easton, but returned to this town in 1842, locating on the place
where his son David H. now lives. He married Rhoda Howland and reared a
family of six children, as follows: Jerome, Lydia, Sally, Mary, George H.
and David H. The last mentioned is the only one of the family now living
here.
