Robert Huckins, one of twelve children of James Huckins, of New Hampton,
N. H., was a resident on the home farm and married three times, first,
Deborah Gordon, second, Rebecca McGoon, and third, Abigail Muddgett. James,
one of his twelve children, married Louisa Plaisted, has two children, and
now resides in Ashland. His son James F. married Mary S. Smith, of this
town, has two children, and is now a dry goods merchant in the village of
Ashland. Mrs. Cordelia M. Cheany, daughter of James Huckins, has one child
and resides in Poughkeepsie, N. Y.
