Bio: Samuel Brown :Ashland, Grafton Co, New Hampshire

Samuel Brown, a native of Bridgewater, married Susanna, daughter of Abraham
and Rachel Dolloff. Horace, the second of his four sons, married Mary A.,
daughter of Jesse and Patience (Hobert) Fletcher; and had born to him three
children, all now living. He was a native of Bridgewater, was first select
man of that town for many years, and died there in 1874. His widow and three
sons, Burdette, Wilfred F. and Ora A., reside in Ashland village.
