Warrant Land Transfer from Samuel Cunningham to Edward McGlahlin (McLaughlin) 
of Plum Creek in  what became Allegheny County from Westmoreland County 
Pennsylvania 1797.  Note that all spellings are as recorded in original 
document.

Know all men by these presents, that I Samuel Cunningham of Dickson Township 
Westmoreland County  and State of Pennsylvania Yeman for the consider of the 
full sum of one hundred pounds lawfull money of  the state of Pennsylvania to 
me in hand paid the receat I actknolage and myself fully setisefied hath 
bargned sold maid over and do by thes presants trancefer and make over to 
Edward McGlahlin of  Westmoreland County Huntton Township and state of 
Pennsylvania a sertain track of land laying on the  watters of Plum Creek 
joining lands of Slatters on the South and Davisons on the East and others by 
virtue  of a warrant to me granted bearing date at Philadelphia Jult the 
first one thousand seven hundred and eighty  four with all the apertenances 
thereunto belongen To have and to hold the above menchned track of land with 
the warrant and recet for two hundred ackers for the only use and behofe of 
the said Edward  McGlahlin his heirs and asigns forever with all the woods 
waters hedert mantrals and every other things  thereunto belonging and I do 
warrant and defend the above described tracke of land with the warrant and 
recept from me and my heirs Exect Admint and every of their laying lagaul 
clame to said land   Nevertheleas subject to the land ovace for the reminder 
of their dues  In witness hereof I have set my hand  and fixed my seal this 
twenty saventh day of Apreal in the year of our Lord one thousand seven 
hundred  and eighty six.

Westmoreland County     JL ----- Personally came before me the subscriber one 
of the Commonwealths  Justices of the Peace and also of the court of Common 
Pleas the within named John Long and being duly  sworn according to law saith 
that he seen Samuel Cunningham acknowledge the within Instrument of  writing 
to be his act and Deed and desired that the same might be recorded as such
