William Herring vs Michael Tilghman, Adm of John Tilghman, dec
Spring Term 1853 Lenoir County

The action of the plf was against the intestate of the def (John Tilghman) as 
in his lifetime there was a conversion of a note for $200 against Jonathan 
Rouse - claimed the property of the plf

Herring collection from Jonathan Rouse - Abram Congleton was a wit for the 
plf - Congleton was a Constable at the time and the plf put in his hand a note 
payable to William D. Moseley against Jonathan Rouse - the def collection from 
Rouse and kept the proceeds for himself

The wit, Congleton, was rejected by the def

NOTE: There was no clue how all these people were involved.
