1832 Lenoir County 

At Superior Court March Term 1832

On jury - Charles Westbrook, foreman, Willis Withington, Hardy Moore, Noah 
Rouse, Robert Wooten, Windsor Dixon, Frederick Jones, Jesse Broadway, John 
W. L. West, James M. Kilpatrick, Bright Harper, Benjamin Rouse, Job Leary, 
David Lawson, Joshua Canaday, Reubin Clark, George Simmons and Nathan 
Daugherty

William Aldridge late of Lenoir Co on 1 April 1831, did unlawfully take into 
his house Celia Pool and they did then live together, bed and co-habit 
contrary to an Act of the General Assembly - they had one or more children - 
they were charged with adultery - the jury found the defs guilty

There was a 2nd trial - on the jury was James Davis, Jr., Arthur Cunningham, 
Alexander Moseley, Durant Jackson, Nathan Lassiter, Fred. Baker, Thomas Sutton, 
Charles Westbrook, John Askew, Jeremiah Hawkins, Jesse Carmack, CarneyWayne
