Report

To the Clerk of Superior Court of Lenoir County:
Obedient to a summons of the Sheriff of Lenoir County we the undersigned 
commissioners appointed to divide and allot in severalty the lands of the 
petitioners in this case being a house and lot in Kinston, NC as mentioned in 
the petition in this action, assembled on the premises in the said town of 
Kinston on the 27th day of Feb 1893 and proceeded to partition the said lands 
among the said tenants in common according to their respective rights and 
interests therein, and the following is our report of the same:

Lot. no. 1 - Beginning on Independent Street at the corner of the DIBBLE or 
CHADWICK lot or corner and runs about North along said Street 67 1/3 feet, then 
about East and parallel with the DIBBLE or CHADWICK lot to the back line then 
with back line 67 1/3 feet to the DIBBLE or CHADWICK corner then with the DIBBLE 
or CHADWICK line to the beginning we have allowed and set apart in severalty to 
Barbary E. TILGHMAN valued at $300.00.

Lot no. 2 - Beginning on Independent Street at the corner of Lot no. 1 and runs 
about North along said Street 67 1/3 feet,t hen about East and parallel with 
line of Lot no. 1 to back line, then with the back line 67 1/3 feet to the line 
of Lot no. 1, then with the line of Lot no. 1 to the beginning - valued at 
$300.00 we have allowed and set apart in severalty to Frankie WOOD. 

Lot no. 3 - Beginning on Independent Street at the corner of Lot no. 2 and runs 
with said street to Gordon Street then with Gordon Street to the line of the A. 
& N.C.R. Road, then with the line of said Rail Road to the back line of the lot 
then with the back line of the lot to corner of Lot no. 2, then with line of Lot 
no. 2 to the beginning valued at $300.00 we have allowed and set apart in 
severalty to Donnie WOOD. All of which is respectfully submitted. This 27th Feb. 
1893.

The forgoing Report of Commissioners has been confirmed. Let the report together 
with the decree of confirmation and this certificate be recorded in the office 
of the Clark of the Superior Court of Lenoir County, and registered in the 
office of the Register of Deeds of said County.

vs.
Franklin & Donnie WOOD
Decree, Confirming Report of Commissioners

It appearing to the Court that S. H. ABBOT and Wm. C. FIELDS and J. Q. JACKSON, 
Commissioners theretofore appointed by the court to divide the lands described 
in the petition in this cause among the tenants in common therein named and 
allot to each is or her share in severalty, filed their report int his court on 
the 27th day of February 1893 and no objection being filed by the parties and E. 
F. COX guardian ad litem of the defendants through his attorney A. J. LOFTIN 
comes into court and waives notice to show cause &c and asks that the report be 
confirmed. It is therefore decreed by the Court that the said report be and the 
same is hereby in all respects confirmed. And it is further ordered, that said 
report be enrolled in the records of this court and the same together with this 
decree be certified to the Register of Deeds for Lenoir County to the end that 
he may record the same in his office. The said decree is hereby adjudged to the 
binding between the said tenants in common their heirs and assigns. It is also 
adjudged that the costs of this proceeding be paid by the parties equally, the 
whole amount of costs being $13.95.
