Charlotte Observer, September 26, 1915
Kinston, Sept. 25 - Special.  The funeral of Miss Neva Padrick, one of the best 
known young women of this city was held here this morning at 11 o'clock.  Miss 
Padrick died at Black Mountain, where she had been since Spring, Thursday 
afternoon of tuberculosis.  She was 28 years old, and is survived by her 
mother, Mary Padrick, and a sister, Miss Eoline Padrick, of East Gordon 
street.  The young lady was active in Church and Sunday school work, as a 
member of Gordon Street Christian Church.  Rev. B. P. Smith conducted the 
funeral, which was followed by interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
