Heritage Place, Lenoir Community College, Kinston, North Carolina; Vertical File # Kilpatrick - 11480-5 - donated by Ted Sampley Kinston Daily Free Press - 13 October 1900 Mrs. Mary Kilpatrick died last night at 9: o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Madeline Tilghman. Mrs. Kilpatrick was nearly 90 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Geo. Lovick and widow of Warren Kilpatrick who died nearly 25 years ago. Mrs. Kilpatrick was the mother of Messrs. Geo. L. and A. J. Kilpatrick, Mrs. Madeline Tilghman, and Mrs. S. M. Harrell and there are many relatives and a host of friends to mourn her demise. She was a member of the Episcopal church. The burial will take place tomorrow afternoon at 2:o'clock at the cemetery. Rev. J. H. Griffith, rector, St. Mary's will conduct the burial service.
