JAMESON, JAMES, was born at Rochester, N. Y., September 27, 1846, but went with
his parents when a child to Wisconsin, where was reared on a farm and educated
in the district and high schools at Janesville. When twenty-four years old he
went to Winthrop, Iowa, and for seven years was engaged in farming in Iowa, but
sold his farm and moved to this county and located at Sioux Falls, April 15,
1883, since which time he has been engaged in the real estate business. The
Edmison-Jameson block was built by him and M Edmison, and in other ways Mr.
Jameson has shown himself to be an enterprising citizen. He is a conservative,
honest man, and we liked by all who know him.
