Fields Filed for registration at 1 o'clock pm on the 26th day of Feb 1895 and registered on the 27th day of Feb 1895 in the Office of Register of Deeds, Lenoir County Book P 538 2nd Page I Wiley Dover am indebted to Wm. C. Fields of Lenoir County in said State in the sum of One Hundred & twenty five monies dollars for which he holds said note to be due on the 15th day of October 1895 and to secure the payment of the same I do hereby convey to him these articles of personal property: One black horse mule being all the mules I own & the crops of collar corn and all the other crops to be received by me on all other produce received by me on the lands of Jesse Harper in Woodington Township, Lenoir County adjoining the lands of Woodley Becton, Nannie Grady & Sally Outlaw & others or any crops cultivated by me elsewhere during the year 1895. And I Jesse Harper do hereby sell and convey all my right & interest in said crops as landlord to said W. C. Fields as further security said mule advanced by said Fields to enable said Dove to cultivate the crops aforesaid this year in accordance with the situate ???
