The Walnut Valley Times, December 18, 1903, Volume XXXIV, Number 48
Guy Crabb, of Rose Hill, was shot and killed by his brother-in-law, Mr.
Williams. The report is that Crabb and his wife had quarreled, he ordered her
to leave the place or he would burn the house. He went away and upon his return
found his wife still there with her brother, Mr. Wililams, with her. Crabb then
said he wold kill both of them and struck Wiliams who at once resented the
blow, which resulted in the shooting. Crabb's death was almost instantaneous. --
