D/O Claud and Bertie (Hiland) Gardner. Freda grew up in the Gracemont community,
attending Gracemont Schools. She married Warren Cochran on Aug. 5, 1944 in
Gracemont. Warren died July 29, 2003. She worked for Dr. McMillan at the
Gracemont Drug Store until she and Warren moved to Wichita in 1954. She worked
as a receptionist for a dentist in Wichita for several years. In her spare time,
she enjoyed gardening and canning and loved to cook.
