Carteret County, NC Register of Deeds

Indenture made 3 Oct 1774 between John Casa of Core Banks and Thomas Casa 
both of Carteret, for 16 pounds 15 shillings and three pence land in Carteret 
in Core Banks between Three hats and Portsmouth being 1/2 of a lott convey'd 
away by John Nelson to John Casa distinguished by No. 7 and the half contains 
50 acres. Witnesses: David Wallace and John Bragg. Registered: Dec'r Court 1774. 
Bk H, pg 100.

Indenture made 10 Sep 1791 between Thomas Casey of South River Craven and 
William Tolson of Carteret, for 20 pounds land in Carteret on Core Banks and 
taken out of Nelson's deed No. 7 adjacent to Adam Gaskins corner on the sea 
side, Thomas Nelson's patent line containing 50 acres distinguished by being 
the southwest half of John Casey's hundred acres. Witnesses: John Wallace and 
William Wallace. Registered: Aug't Term 1793. Bk L, pg 430.

Indenture made 21 Oct 1797 between Southy Jordan and Richard Casa both of Craven 
County, for 20 pounds land in Carteret on Core Banks near Portsmouth joining 
Jesse Tison land containing 50 acres. Witnesses: James Jones and Thos. Casey. 
Registered: Feb'y Term (no year). Bk O, pg 54.

Indenture made 26 Aug 1815 between William C. Nelson of Craven and Joseph Casey 
of Carteret, for $25 land in Carteret on Core Banks between the Three Hats Creek 
and Styron Hills being part of the undivided land that formerly belonged to Aser 
Nelson dec'd containing 50 acres. Witnesses: W. C. Dixon and John Mayo.
