and is buried in Danville Cemetery in Wilkinson County.

-DANVILLE - Mary Elizabeth Galias Fowler, 75, of Walnut Street, died July 14,
2003 in Ridgecrest, California after a lengthy fight with cancer. Graveside
services will be held at 4P.M., Sunday, July 20, 2003 in the Danville City
Cemetery. Rev. Norm Wilson will officiate. -Mary was born and grew up in
Youngstown, Ohio on February 9, 1928, one of six children born to immigrants
from Europe. On January 25, 1976, she married Tom "Tucker" Fowler, Jr. to whom
she was married for 21 years. Tucker preceded her in death on September 28,
1997. Mary was a member of the Danville Baptist Church. She will be remembered
for her love and joy in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was an
avid gardener with love for beautiful flowers, skill with her hands in many
crafts and also a wonderful cook. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Grandma,
Me-Ma and friend with a warm smile and feisty spirit. She will be greatly missed
by her family and friends. -Survivors include two daughters, Frances K. Krabbe
of Inyokern, CA and Jennifer L. Weaver of Danville; sons-in-law: Harry O. Krabbe
and Connie Weaver; one brother, Raymond M. Galias of Glendale, CA; six
grandchildren: Shannon L. Potts, Dana K. Bays, Maryanne W. Wagle, Phillip J.
Krabbe, John M. Krabbe and Harry A. Krabbe, II; eight great-grandchildren:
Deanna K. Beardsley, Daniel S. Beardsley, Jr., Blake J. Bays, Blaine J. Bays,
Christopher J. Wagle, Taylor R. Wagle, Alexander J. Wagle and Thomas J. Krabbe.
-Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Breast Cancer
Foundation. -The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00P.M. Sunday,
July 20 in the funeral home. -Reece Funeral Home in Jeffersonville has charge of
arrangements.
