Harvey Fowler was born 10-26-1895 and died 9-19-1966 (GA DC# 028178) and is
buried at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Houston County, Georgia. His parents are
buried at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Harvey Fowler

WARNER ROBINS---Funeral services for Harvey Fowler, 70, of 126 Northview Ave.,
who died Monday in the Dublin VA hospital, will be held at 3PM Wednesday in the
Central Baptist Church with the Rev. Sydney H. Odom officiating. Burial will be
in Magnolia Park Cemetery with Masonic rites.
Mr. Fowler retired from Robins Air Force Base in 1961 and had lived in Warner
Robins for 23 years coming here from McRae. He was a charter member of the
Central Baptist Church, a member of the Cool Spring Lodge No. 185, F&AM in
Danville, a member of the Scottish Rite and the Al Sihah Shrine Temple. He was a
veteran of World War I and was the son of the late Mathew W. Fowler and Hennie
Hasty Fowler.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Rogers Fowler of Warner Robins; two
daughters, Miss Patricia Ann Fowler of Warner Robins and Mrs. Lois Scarborough
of Danville; two sons, Carl Vinson Fowler of Danville and Nelson Rogers Fowler
of Warner Robins; three sisters, Mrs. Mozelle Rickerson and Miss Lizzie Fowler,
both of Danville, and Mrs. Julia Kitchens of Macon; four brothers, Dennard and
Marshall Fowler of Macon, and Jule and Tom Fowler of Danville; five
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The body will lie in state at the Watson-Wainright Funeral Home until one hour
before funeral services.
