                              Mrs. Fowler
 DANVILLE---- Gladys Fowler, 77, died Thursday in a Jeffersonville nursing 
home. Services will be held at 2pm today in Mount Zion Baptist Church in 
Danville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Revs. Jeff Slaughter and 
Paul Jones will officiate.
 Mrs. Fowler, a native of Dodge County, lived in Twiggs County most of her 
life. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
 Survivors include her four sons, Jerry Fowler of Danville, George Solomen 
Fowler Jr., Arthur Earl Fowler, and W. H. Fowler, all of Macon; a daughter, 
Jean Thomas of Niceville, Fla.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
 Townsend brothers Funeral Home in Dublin has charge of arrangements.
 

Additional Comments:
Gladys was born 12 Jul 1908 to John Yawn and Nancy Chance Yawn. Georgia death 
certificate #028849. Her husband was George Solomen Fowler Sr. who is buried 
at Lucy Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
