Frances Nellie (maiden name Thompson) Fowler was born 7-18-1916 and died
10-4-1987 (GA DC# 044537) and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Frances N. Fowler

DANVILLE---Frances Nellie Fowler of Route 1 died Sunday in a local nursing home.
She was a 71-year-old homemaker.
Services will be held at 3PM today in Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Twiggs County.
Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Revs. John Wesley and William Herndon
will officiate.
A native and lifelong resident of Twiggs County, Mrs. Fowler was the wife of the
late Wilburn Fowler and the daughter of the late Zack Thompson and Essie Mae
Floyd Thompson. She was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church in
Twiggs County.
Survivors include a son, James "Bud" Fowler of Danville; a daughter, Rose Frost
of Cochran; four sisters, Ruby Floyd of Macon, Georgia Sangster of Dry Branch,
Neva Floyd of Jeffersonville, and Helen Owens of Hawkinsville; a brother, Marvin
Thompson of Dry Branch; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Fisher Funeral Home in Cochran has charge of arrangements.
