Ethel (maiden name Davis) Fowler was born 10-29-1911 and died 1-26-1953 (GA DC#
2574) and is buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Twiggs County.

 Services Are Held For Mrs. Fowler

Funeral services for Mrs. Ethel Davis Fowler, 42, who died Monday morning in a
Macon Hospital following an illness of several months, were held Tuesday
afternoon at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church near Danville, The services were
conducted by the Rev. Herbert Woodyard and Rev. Jimmie Waters. Interment was in
the family lot in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Fowler was born in Bleckley County, the daughter of the late Ben D. Davis
and Mrs. Dollie Arnold Davis and had lived in this county all of her life. She
was a member of the Cool Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband
Bob Fowler of Cary, mother Mrs. Dollie A. Davis of Danville; two brothers,
Howard E. Davis of Montrose and Bobbie Lee Davis of Cochran; five sisters, Mrs.
John G. Sapp of Danville, Mrs. A. L. Long of Atlanta, Mrs. C. B. Barlow of
Macon, Mrs. H. M. Watson of Montrose, and Mrs. W. H. Kitchens of Cochran.
The pallbearers were Bill Fowler, Grady Phillips, Wilbur Kitchens, Horace Sapp,
and Carlton Sapp. Fisher Funeral Home in chrage of arrangements.
