Julian William Floyd was born 4-22-1930 and died 7-13-2000 and his wife, Mary
Julia (maiden name Lee) Floyd was born abt 1930 and died 8-17-2008. Both
are/will be buried at Lucy Chapel Cemetery in Twiggs County.

Julian Floyd 

BRYSON CITY, N.C. --- Services for Julian W. Floyd will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday
in Fisher Funeral Home, Cochran, with burial in Lucy Chapel Cemetery, Twiggs
County. Floyd, 70, died Thursday, July 13, 2000. Son of the late Jeff and Effie
Floyd, he was retired from Central State Hospital. He was a member of Mount Zion
Baptist Church. 

Survivors include his wife, Mary Floyd; children Gary Floyd of Bryson City,
Sandra Yarbrough of Milledgeville and Fran NeSmith of Danville; sisters and
brothers Lucille Mobley, Avis Whited, Merle Kirkpatrick, Terrell Floyd and
Mahlon Floyd, all of Cochran, Nellie McDaniel of Centerville, Alma Berryhill of
Nahunta, Jewell Baker of Gray, Eunice Davis of Augusta and Wylene Wydel of South
Carolina; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

-MILLEDGEVILLE - Mary Julia Lee Floyd, 78, of Harriet Circle, died Saturday in
Macon. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 18, 2008 at 11A.M., in
Lucy Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Elder Franklin Bryant will
officiate. -Mrs. Floyd was born in Twiggs County the daughter of the late Robert
E. and Nellie Lucas Lee. She was the widow of the late Julian William Floyd.
Mrs. Floyd was a retired Health Services Tech with Central State Hospital. She
was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. -Survivors include her children,
Sandra Yarbrough of Milledgeville, Gary Floyd of Danville, and Fran NeSmith of
Danville; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. -The family will
receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00P.M., Sunday in the Funeral Home. -In lieu of
flowers donations may be made to: Alzheimer's Association of Central Georgia @
277 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Macon, GA 31201 or to Lucy Chapel Cemetery
Fund C/O Sara Carden, Lucy Chapel Church Rd., Danville, GA 31017.
