          HENRY C. CHANCE ROUTE TWO FARMER DIED SATURDAY.
 
   Funeral service for Henry C. Chance, 66, well known farmer of Eastman, 
Route Two, were held Monday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Horne Funeral Home.  
Rev. John Gardner, pastor of the Christian Church officiated.
   Mr. Chance a native of this county, died Saturday at the Dodge County 
Hospital. He was a member of the Christian church.
   Sacred selections were rendered by Mr. And Mrs. Logan Hemphill and Mrs. Ben 
Jackson. They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Robert Lewis, Jr. Serving 
as pallbearers were Felix Stuckey, Wilbur Smith, John G. Thomas, J. W. 
Simpson, Vernon Williams and Young Rogers.
   Surviving are his wife, two sons, Fred Chance, of Eastman, and J. K. Chance 
of Atlanta, a daughter, Mrs. Fred Beck, of Eastman, a sister, Mrs. Iva Davis, 
of Dudley; a brother Johnny Chance, of Dudley; and six grandchildren.
   Interment was in Orphans Cemetery.
