                          Moscas Carter

 DUBLIN---Funeral services for Moscas Carter, 71, who died Saturday in 
Savannah, will be held at 3pm Monday at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church near 
Danville with the Rev. Doc Little and the Rev. Moncrief officiating. Burial 
will be in the church cemetery.

 Mr. Carter was a resident of Savannah.

 Surviving are a son, W. M. Carter Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, 
Mrs. Hall Hasty of Savannah, Mrs. Edison Dominy of Macon, and Mrs. Wilton Clark 
of Gainesville; four brothers, Perue of Midway, Zeronia and Colothera of Macon, 
and Eugliscus of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Aloah Rohr of Washington, 
DC; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.



Additional Comments:
Moscas was born 3 Feb 1891 to John William Carter and Dona Chance Carter. Dona 
Chance Carter is also buried at Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery. John William 
Carter is buried in Macon Memorial Park in Bibb County, Ga. Georgia death 
certificate #24252. His first wife was Loris Leigh Carter and his second wife 
was Cora Lee Edge Carter.
