                         Mrs. Carter Rites Saturday

 Mrs. Fannie H. Carter, 77, of 3330 Shaw Drive, died Thursday in a Macon 
hospital after a lengthy illness.

 Services will be held at 11am Saturday in Napier Avenue FreeMethodist Church. 
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

 Mrs. Carter, a native of Dooly County, had lived in Macon 35 years. She was a 
member of Napier Avenue Free Methodist Church.

 Survivors include three sons, James R. Carter and Horace B. Carter, both of 
Hollywood, Fla. and William J. Carter of Tucson, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Walter 
R. Williams Jr. of Macon; three brothers, Felton T. Hardie of Gordon, Joseph T. 
Hardie of Jackson, Tenn., and Ernest E. Hardie of Washington, DC; a half-
brother, Emory Hardie of Cochran; a sister, Mrs. Frank Mowery of Phoenix, 
Ariz.; a half-sister, Mrs. Louise H. Gallahen of Warner Robins.

 Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Fannie was born 15 Sep 1898 to Joseph Sidney Hardie/Hardy and Penelope "Pennie" 
Amerson Hardie/Hardy. Her husband was John Benny Carter who is buried Mt. Zion 
Baptist Church Cemetery in Twiggs County. Georgia death certificate #029979.
