Colothree Carter was born 12-10-1908 and died 1-19-1986 (GA. DC# 000786) and is
buried at Mt. Zion.

Colothree Carter

Colothree Carter, 77, a Bassett Furniture Co. retiree, died Sunday in a local
hospital after an extended illness. Services will be held at 3PM Tuesday in Mt.
Zion Baptist Church in Danville. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev.
Jimmy Woods will officiate.
Mr. Carter, a native of Twiggs County, lived in Macon most of his life. He was a
member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Louise B. Carter of Macon; two sons, Jerry Carter of
Riverdale and Charles Carter of Byron; three daughters, Betty Carter Dent of
Riverdale, Rachel Carter Spires of Macon, and Ethel Carter Shelley of Roberta;
21 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will meet friends from 6 to 9PM today.
The family will be at the Carter residence.
