                             Mrs. Shield Bozeman Sr.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Shield L. Bozeman Sr., 63, of Jeffersonville, who 
died Tuesday in a local hospital, will be held in the Lucy Chapel Methodist 
Church at 11am today.

 The Rev. J. Ralph Foster will officiate and burial will be in the church 
cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 10:30 to 11am.

 Pallbearers will be Hoyt Dennard, J. B. Gibbs, Billy Hamrick, R. A. Newton, 
Cason Sherwood, and Aaron Marshall.

 Mrs. Bozeman was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, the daughter of Joseph 
Sidney Hardy and Mrs. Penelope Amerson Hardy. She was a member of the Lucy 
Methodist Church.

 Surviving are two sons, Sheild L. Bozeman Jr. of Macon and James S. Bozeman of 
Twiggs County; six daughters, Mrs. Hoyt L. Dennard and Mrs. J. B. Gibbs, both 
of Gordon, Mrs. Billy Hamrick of Jeffersonville, Mrs. R. A. Newton, Mrs. Cason 
Sherwood, and Mrs. Aaron Marshall, all of Macon; 25 grandchildren; 2 great-
grandchildren; three brothers, Felton Hardy and Gene Hardy, both of Washington, 
DC and Emory Hardy of Cochran; three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Carter of Macon, Mrs. 
Maude Mowrey of Gilabend, Ariz., and Mrs. Milton Gallager of Warner Robins; and 
several nieces and nephews.

 The family will be at the residence of Mrs. W. E. Hamrick of Jeffersonville.

 Hart's Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
