John Clarence Baggarly was born 5-9-1902 and died 5-14-1953(GA DC# 10361) and is
buried at Mt. Zion cemetery in twiggs County. His wife, Mamie Lee Fowler
Baggarly, as well as his parents, John Alexander Baggarly and Leona Sauls
Baggarly, are also buried there.

                                                  John Baggarly Dies After Brief
Illness

John Clarence Baggarly of Rt. 1, Danville, died in a local hospital at 5:54PM
Thursday after a brief illness. He had been in failing health for several months.
Mr. Baggarly, a retired farmer, was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County, the
son of John Baggarly and Mrs. Leona Sauls Baggarly.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Mamie Lee Fowler of Danville; two
daughters, Mrs. Chester Wood, Danville and Mrs. Ralph Eavenson, Macon; two sons,
J. B. Baggarly, Danville and John Marvin Baggarly, Jeffersonville; two
grandsons; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Sapp, Macon and Mrs. Varina Lucas, Danville; a
brother, Robert Baggarly, Danville.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion Baptist Chuch near Danville at 4PM.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
