  Billie Medley, 79, of Adel passed away November 12, 2015, at the Fellowship Home 
in Nashville.
 He was born in New Hope, AL on November 24, 1935, to the late Rass and Clyde 
Willoughby Medley. He lived most of his life in Cook and Berrien Counties and was 
a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church in Nashville. He was retired from Metal 
Products-ITT where he served as personnel manager. After his retirement he went to 
work with a civilian Grounds Contractor at Moody Air Force Base. Mr. Medley served 
in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
 Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth James Medley of Adel; a son and daughter-
in-law, Barry and Pam Medley of Adel; a daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Chris 
Jones of Blair, OK; three grandchildren, Patricia Medley of Adel, Matt and Sara 
Jones and Jessica Jones Watson, all of Altus, OK; four great grandchildren, Emily 
Medley and Connor Medley of Adel, Landon Watson and Seth Jones of Altus, OK; three 
brothers, Travis Medley of Enterprise, AL, James Medley of Brundidge, AL, and Rex 
Medley of Ariton, AL; two sisters, Laddie McGlothren and Miriam Kayo Harbuck, 
both of Enterprise, AL.
 He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph Medley and Seth Medley and two 
sisters, Gladys Stephens and Addie Pearl Harrison
 Funeral services were held on Sunday, November 15 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of 
Boone Funeral Home with Rv. Mickey Lindsey, Rev. Gary James, and Rev. Wayne Boykin 
officiating.
 Interment was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ralph Medley, Jr, Jr. and 
Rev. Mike Medley officiating.
 Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 143 
Hwy. 3119 S., Suite 1; Moultrie, GA 31768 or to The Fellowship Home; 1207 
McPherson Ave; Nashville, GA 31639.
