 Judge Hansel William H.W. Lott, 88, of West Berrien died August 25, 2013, at 
Southern Care Assisted Living.
 He was born December 13, 1924, in Lenox to the late William Horton and Agnes 
Allen Lott. He attended Sparks-Adel High School, was a former Georgia State 
Representative, retired Superior Court Judge for the Alapaha Judicial Circuit, 
and had been awarded lifetime Jude Emeritus status. He was a member of St. Mary 
Margaret Catholic Church, an Army veteran of WWII, Mason and Shriner. He was 
preceded in death by a sister, Hattie Tomlinson and a brother, James Olin Lott.
 He is survived by his wife, Stella Venegas Lott of Cali, Columbia, South 
America; so, Lynn Lott Bennett of Adel; two sisters, Florence Sumner of West  
Berrien and Kate V. Jones of Lenox; several nieces and nephews.
 A Mass of Christian Burial was held August28 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Dillard Ensley and Father Freddie Angel officiating. 
Entombment followed at Pine Grove Cemetery. A Rosary service was held August 27 
at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
