 Clarence joiner, Jr., 78, of Sparks died Jan. 15, 2010, at Tift Regional M
Medical Center.
 Born Dec.6, 1931, in Cook County to the late Ruby Tyson and Clarence Joiner, 
Sr., he was a retired truck driver for Chaparral Boats, a member of Brushy C
Creek Baptist Church, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.
 Survivors include his wife, Alice Joiner of Sparks; sons, David Joiner of 
Hahira and Roy Joiner of Sparks; daughter and son-in-law, Lynn and Steve 
Williams of Adel; two brothers, Ernest joiner of Sparks and Bobby Joiner of 
Stone Mountain; eight grandchildren, Nikki Joiner Wynne of Cecil, Matthew 
Joiner of Sparks, Marilyn Bullard of Adel, Rebekah, Ashlyn and Jonathan Joiner 
of Sparks, Kaysie and Candace Williams of Adel, great-grandchild, Layla Moore of Sp
of Sparks. He was preceded in death by sister, Velma J. Castleberry.
 Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 18 at Brushy Creek Baptist Church with
with the Revs. Jimmy Parker and Earl Buckholts officiating. Jack and Bettye Join
Joiner sang "Amazing Grace," "I Saw the Light" and "I'll Fly Away."
 Interment was in Brushy Creek Church Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Chip Joiner, Brock Williams, Taylor Flythe, Mikie Al
Allen, Jake Whitaker, Earl Joiner, Jr.
 Honorary pallbearers were Junior Folds and Troy Griner.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
