 Helen Croy Harris, 79, of Adel died December 2, 2005 at Memorial Convalescent 
Center of Adel.

 Born August 13, 1926 in Colquitt County to the late William Ebb and Temple 
Matthews Croy, she was a retired certified nurses' assistant and a member of 
the Church of the Nazarene. She was married to the late James Carl Harris.

 Survivors include three sons, Lamar Harris and David Harris, both of Adel, 
Ronnie Harris of Nashville; daughter, Beverly Hoffman of Nashville; three 
brothers, Virgil Croy and Bobby Croy, both of Tifton, Arthur Croy of 
Tallahassee, FL; three sisters, Hazel Crimsley and Carolyn Stripling, both of 
Adel, Linda Baldree of Sparks; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held December 4 at 2 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Chapel with the Revs. James Sellers and James Rice officiating. Donna Gandy, 
pianist, played "The Lighthouse" and Margaret Giddens sang, "When I Cross That 
River" and "Look What I'm Trading for a Mansion."

 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Mick Johnson, Justin Lasseter, Dennis Crimsley, Gabe 
Lasseter, Tony Baldree, Chris Capes.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
