The Berrien Press -- Robert "Willie" Garvitte, Jr., 66, of Nashville died 
November 22, 2007 at Memorial Hospital of Adel.
 Born June 4, 1941 to the late Robert and Maebell Dixon Garvitte, he was a 
tractor mechanic at Nashville Tractor and was of the Baptist faith.
 Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Kathy, Tina, Danny and Dewayne; 
four brothers, Gene Bobby, Harold and Donald; grandchildren; great-
grandchildren; special friend, Wanda Harper.
 Funeral services were held Nov. 24 at 4 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home in Adel 
with the Revs. Larry Daughtery and Tommy Dorman officiating. Wayne Boyette 
sang "Go Rest High on That Mountain," accompanied by Nell Boyette. "Peace in 
the Valley" and "When I Get to Where I'm Going" were played on CD.
 Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery Annex.
 Pallbearers were Allen Garvitte, Russell Sadler, Darrell Griffin, Phillip 
Holbrook, Ted Lewis, Rick Palmer.
 Honorary pallbearer was Jackson Mixon.
 Purvis Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
