 Faye Wheat Gantt, 63, of Tifton, formerly of Cook County, died July 19, 2010, a
at her residence.
 Born July 31, 1946, in Lowndes County, she was the daughter of the late M
Murrell and Eva Lou Hogan Wheat. She graduated from Cook County High School and a
attended Valdosta State College. She had a 25 year career in banking and was a m
member of Sparks Baptist Church.
 Survivors include her husband, George W. Gantt of Tifton; sister, Kim Wheat of 
Lenox; step-children, David (Beckie) Gantt, Paula (Johnny Mack) Carter, Denise 
(Bill) Fugua and Rhonda (John) Boatwright; sister-in-law, Mary Alice (Lloyd) Hughs
Hughs; 11 step-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held July 22 at 10 a.m. in Sparks City Cemetery with th
the Rev. Elbert Cox and Dillard Ensley and Mr. Brian Gay officiating.
 Pallbearers were members of the Georgia State Patrol Honor Guard.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
