 Joey Flanders, 44, of Lenox died June 20, 2005 at Smith Northview Hospital in 
Lowndes Co., GA.

 Born March 4, 1961 in Ocilla to Thomas Jordan and Mary Joyce Dillard Flanders 
of Alapaha, he was employed with Moore Lumber Co. He was a member of Pleasant 
Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

 Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his wife, Nancy Hester Flanders 
of Lenox; one son, Heath Flanders of Lenox; one sister, Sandy Givens of Alapaha.

 Funeral services were held June 22 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Jackie Connell and John Hendley officiating. Betty and Jack 
Joiner sang “"Just Inside the Eastern Gate,"” "“Go Rest High On That
Mountain,"” 
and  "The Lord is My Shepherd."”

 Interment was in Pleasant Hill Church Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Jamie Godwin, Kevin Ward, Jason Godwin, Bob Sarkees, Chris 
Carrington, Gene Owens.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements
