 Mary Carolyn Bush Exum, 62, of Sparks died July 17, 2005 at South Georgia 
Medical Center of Valdosta.

 Born Sept. 5, 1942 in Tift County to the late William Jordon and Icey Mary 
Rooks Bush, she was a seamstress and homemaker and attended Adel Church of God.

 Survivors include her husband, Lamar Exum of Sparks; two sons, Mike Exum of 
Nashville and Rev. John Exum of Lenox; two daughters, Mary Etta Purvis of 
Valdosta and Alice Alonzo of Adel; brother, Travis Bush of Valdosta; five 
grandchildren.

 Funeral services were held July 19 at 3 p.m. at Adel Church of God with the 
Revs. Charles Blair and Raymond Gabbard officiating. Musical selections 
include "Amazing Grace," "Go Rest High on That Mountain," and "I Sure Miss You" 
by Rev. John Exum.

 Interment was in Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Jamie Exum, Jimmy Exum, Steve Moore, Chad Moore, Tyrone 
McDaniel, Wayne Gilliard.

 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
