 Marlon Lee Eldridge, 61, of Sparks, died Thursday Sept. 29, 2011 in the 
Memorial Hospital of Adel. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in 
the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Daughtry officiating. M
Marion Lee Eldridge, Jr. sang "Go Rest High on That Mountain," and Todd Griffin s
sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Lord, Lead Me Home." 
 Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive 
friends from 7 until 9 tonight at Lovein Funeral Home.
 Active pallbearers were Donnie Brown, Mark Eldridge, Homer Root, Justin 
Godwin, Mike "Hook" McKinley.
 Honorary pallbearers were Johnny Harper, Jesse Harper, Riley Harper, Vinson Har
Harper, Elbert Starling.
 Mr. Eldridge was born April 30, 1950 in Irwin County to Jewell Watson and the la
late June Eldridge. He was a retired textile superintendent with Shaw In
Industries.
 In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Emma Jean Harper E
Eldridge of Sparks; a daughter, Gail Eldridge Sumner of Ocilla; three sons, M
Marlon Lee (Darlene) Eldridge Jr. of Sumner, Mark Anthony (Laura) Eldridge of A
Ashburn and Zachary Lamar Eldridge of Sparks; eight grandchildren and numerous n
nieces and nephews.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
