 Vivian McClellan Cowart, 71, of Adel died May 16, 2005 at Memorial 
Convalescent Center of Adel.
 Born April 24, 1934 in Worth County to the late Cress N. and Mildred Pierce 
McClellan, she was a retired registered nurse and member of Adel Church of 
Christ.
 Survivors include her husband, Ben Cowart of Adel; daughter, Karen Redding of 
Adel; brother, Robert McClellan of Adel; four grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held May 18 at 4 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Elders J.L. Rowan and Clarke Lee and Rev. John Hendley officiating. The Sacred 
Harpe Singers sang "Amazing Grace," "Beulah Land," and "A Thought of Death."
 Interment was in Empire Church Cemetery in Lanier County.
 Pallbearers were Johnnie Lancaster, Robert Cowart, Steve Cowart, Rene Cowart, 
Gary Godwin, Johnny Hendley.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
