 Alma F. Cook, 77, of Adel died December 8, 2005 at Memorial Convalescent 
Center of Adel.
 Born December 12, 1927 in Berrien County to the late Little Charlie and Maddie 
Belle Fender Duren, she was a retired metal products worker and a member of 
Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was married to the late Eugene Cook.
 Survivors include one daughter, Linda Hancock of Cecil; two brothers, Donald 
Duren of Adel and Bobby Duren of Brunswick; four sisters, Grace Smallwood of 
Perry, FL, Jewel Newbern and Hazel Duren, both of Adel, Jackie Wallace of 
Albany; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held December 10 at 2 p.m. at Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home 
Chapel with Rev. John Hendley officiating.
 Interment was in Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Dinky Ortiz, Timmy Guthrie, Timmy Wright, Kenneth Meeler, 
Wayne Bennett, Steve Newbern.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
