 Oteen Bennett, 77 Sparks died December 30, 2006, at Tift Health Care Nursing 
Home in Tifton.
 Born July 11, 1929 in Sparks to the late William Wesley and Catsy Louise 
Pritchard Moore, she was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith. She was married 
to the late Melton Lee Bennett.
 Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Nolan and Brenda Bennett of 
Sparks and William and Sue Bennett of Lakeland; seven daughters and sons-in-
law, Louise and Charles Baker of Tifton, Wanda Harper of Sparks, Bunny and Gene 
Baker and Lois and Dale Hancock, all of the West Berrien Community, Gloria and 
Jimmy Kilpatrick and Guanice and Ronnie Bromlow all of Chula, Lavonia and Dave 
Scott of Waycross, 25 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded 
in death by son, Lee Vernon Bennett, two grandsons and on great grandson.
 Funeral services were held January 2 at 2 p.m. at West Central Avenue Church 
of God in Lenox with the Revs. Gordon Statum and Dean McKinney officiating. 
Betty and Jack Joiner sang "Go Rest High On that Mountain," "I Want Us to be 
Together in Heaven" and "I want to Stroll Over Heaven With You."
 Interment was in Oaky Grove Church Cemetery.
 Active pallbearers were Allen Kilpatrick, James Kilpatrick, Lee Bennett, 
Robbie Baker, Darrell Bennett, Farrell Bennett.
 Honorary pallbearers were Melton Bennett, Tony Harper, Todd Brumlow, Bobby 
Hancock, John Hancock, Ryan Rutland, Trevor Bennett, Blake Bennett, Rev. Paul 
Sumner, John "PeeWee" Moore and employees and residents of Tift Health Care.
 Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home of Adel was in charge of arrangements.
